I'm a nerd who learned to sew in my early 20's. I started an Etsy shop selling sewn small animal supplies to compliment the hedgehog breeding years of my 20's (we were USDA certified, don't worry). Eventually I started Sneaky Geek Chic selling scarves with hidden pockets in geeky fabrics. It spiraled wildly, driven by customer interest as well as my own and now we sell a variety of fabric items all in either nerdy fabrics or with nerdy embroidery on them.
